I have several questions: 1. Does anybody know if there is a speedster that has roll up windows besides the Chesil in Great Britain?2. I really like the Chesil Speedster that is located in Great Britain, but I don't have any idea at all of how much it might cost to get it to the states? I hope someone can help! Thanks, Jimmy |

There's a difference between the Speedster and the 356B; the Speedster is the popular replica, the 356B is the similar looking car that had roll-up windows. There aren't alot of replicas of the B in the U.S. (in fact, I don't have any that are in active production on any of my lists). The biggest external difference is that the B had a completely different windscreen that sat up straighter, and it had a real functioning convertible top. Also, the B I believe is called a convertible more than it's called a speedster. Hope that helps in your search. Your pal, Meat.

There is a company in BC called Intermeccanica that produces both a speedster and a 356D with rollup windows. The 356D has a higher windscreen and is considered a roadster. Here is a linkhttp://www.intermeccanica.com/roadster.html I think its a great car from what I have read but it's more expensive then most Turnkey's and not really available in a kit 356FAN |
