hey, havnt been here in a while...
Anyway, i'm about to get a car (probably either a Z28 or a Trans Am) and i'm not gonna do much with that...its gonna stay pretty much stock, for now. I'm gonna be wanting to do something with my time, and i've always loved the Hummer H1. I'm not a big SUV person so just getting a daily driver SUV wouldnt be my first choice, but i was thinking...maybe a H1 replica?
Can anyone give me any ideas? Pretty much i'm looking for a body kit for an SUV or pickup...body style doesnt matter too much...and the interior i'd be doing from scratch (no need for any interior kit.)
As far as the exterior goes, i just am looking for the basic shape of the hummer....you know...doesnt have to be exact or anything....Think i have a chance of doing the whole thing (all the work and paint and stuff myself) for under 4,000 dollars? is it possible? what other SUV options are there?btw anyone who can talk cars in general, kit cars, SUV's, etc on AIM, please do so. my screenname is speedingpenguin

There are a couple of different companies making H1 style kits. Take a look at www.h1forum.com or www.tremormuv.com for plenty of information.
