THE jag v-12 can be used easily as an automatic,using a toronado tranny based on a turbo 400 or turbo 350 depending on the year,the early to mid eighty's v-12 jags used a gm turbo-400 tranny with a bolt pattern to match the jag moter,to mate it to a toronado trans you make up a plate 1/8 inch thick to combine the bolt patterns and use a mid 80's jag flexplate to bolt the torque converter to. I think I'll just stay with the BMW 850 motor it seems like less work and time, plus the BMW motor is a later model. Thanks for the anwser Madmike.
