Normally the gear box is behind the engine, the driveshaft is shortened and an adapter is made for the shifter, but I have seen them turned around somehow and the gearbox is "backwards" but I wouldn't try it, it sounds too much like hard work to do. You've made a good choice with the 2JZ, lots of power and unbreakable drive train.Hope this helps Your mate in OZ Dave
