i have a fiero with the 2.8 V6 in it. i want to put the 3.1 stroker kit into it, but i already have the engine bored with new pistons rings and rods, i wanted to see if i could just throw a 3.1L crankshaft into it or if i need 2 change anything else. Is it that simple? what else do i have to do for this to work?

The short answer is no you can't. The long answer is no because boring takes metal from the sides of the cylinders, were as a stroker kit increases the length of the stroke, so the dimensions won't line up and you will have a bad seal, which is not good. So yes you will have to change alot, or sea if you can find a stroker kit to fit!!

Hope this helps

You may need different rods, but I don't see why not. Check with the experts at Pennock's. www.fiero.nl
Personally, I'd pull the engine and put in a 3.4.
