Maybe this is a bit of topic since its not really about kit cars. But I'm thinking of buying a 1971 to 1973 model pontiac trans am. I would like to tune up the handeling performace of the car to give me the handeling of a more modern race car as far as possible. I basicly want a modern car in a old stylish trans am package.
I figure some of you guys might know where I could get info on this or maybe you have some tips. I read some where of a guy tuning an old jaguar (e-type I think it was) to handle exceptionally well in curves in high speed, so I figure it can be done on a trans am.
