I'm not exactly clear on what you're saying. Am I correct in interpreting what you said as you are looking for a new Nissan 350Z body kit that fits on a 300ZX, or a Porsche GT that fits on an old 911?Well, the good news is that the GT is already done, and fits on a Fiero.
The bad news is that the 911 is rear-engined, not mid-engined, so there would be a hefty about of re-engineering necessary...so much so, that it probably wouldn't be completely worth the effort; you might as well start with a mid-engined car.
The new 350Z is a smaller car than the older 300ZX, but that doesn't mean that the cars can't be reworked. The good news about this option is that it can be done...the bad news is that by the time you build the kit, buy the donor, paint it, get the right wheels, you're going to be looking at a kit that costs as much as the brand new car it's attempting to replicate.
The biggest issue with replicating a current-model car is that unless the cost of the car you want to replicate is astronomical, it's usually just not worth the time of the manufacturer to make the kit in the first place. Why would you buy a replica - based on 10-year-old mechanicals - when you can buy a brand new, fully warrantied car for the same amount of money?
Hope that helps you out a bit.
