I am looking for any information on where to obtain kit car plans so that document the building of any type of car from scratch. Plans need to include body, chassis, engine and all other aspects. Let me know if you all come up with anything.E-Mail is jblayze@hot101.com Johnny |

Visit the following website - www.kitcarworkshop.com They offer a complete set of plans on how to build a Lamborghini Countach replica from scratch. A video guide should be included,... The plans seem quite good to me, but the Countach is a bit old design don't you think? They are saying that they are working on a diablo plans as well, but this is going on for more than a year now (so I have stopped waiting and started to build a diablo replica from scratch on my own - it's still a long way to go however...).

The website janezzz posted is a good resource. If your driving force for building your own car from scratch is saving some money, you may also want to consider starting with a design where you use an entire donor car intact. You simply replace body panels with ones you create. Using a full donar car will save your from having to build a chassis from scratch, which can be quite expensive. Also, remember you are going to be trusting your life to that chassis some day. So if you are not an expert in chassis design and welding, you may want to consult with a professional in that area. Best of luck with your project! I've always wanted to build something completely from scratch. I just don't have enough time and truth be told, enough talent to fabricate everything. KITCARMAN

that site is great but it also costs $50 to get access to the plans. Also anyone know where I can get extremely detailed drawings of production cars (for the donor), so I can get all the measurements of the frame and body panels and what not. Thanks for any help.Johnny
