I'm making the new Range Rover kit to fit on a 1995-2001 Range Rover. Its becoming to a very nice car. Statisticly its only me who can say the difference. The only thing i dont like so far is the headlights. Does anyone has knowledge about that problem. I mean the question is "who is MAKING the best headlights in the world?"

Meat, are you there?

I dunno. It depends on your application. Some headlights are great for on-road application, some are better (and brighter) for offroad. Some a made for heavier duty/industrial-strength use, some are too dainty to be submerged...even for a moment.

I am very impressed with the Range Rover, and have had a few of them. My absolutely favorite 4x4 for general application is the Defender (my favorite 4x4 for rock crawling is the Samurai).

Have you seen the Dakar? http://www.dakar4x4.co.uk

It's interesting. Not necessarily exactly my cup of tea, but it's pretty durned cool, and I still like it better than the Jeep Mangler.

If you're coming up with a kit for the RR, then you've made a great choice; it's a world car. You can get a RR anywhere in the world! In both LHD and RHD!

But - as a caveat - if you can make your kit fit the car all the way back to the 1988 RR, then you'll have an even greater base from which to draw from.

I'll see what I can find out about headlights for you.

Your pal,
Meat.

Thanks a lot Meat. I'll be waiting for the rest. But if i cant find the RR replica headlights then i think i will use the original 2003 ones. (i know its not an intelligent act) But have to finish my changeover pack and there is no way i can use old ones.
