As you have seen in a previous post, a few companys in europe(vhtuning.be) have began to put OEM body parts from an 2003 SL500 on a older model SL. I am in Los Angeles California and currently own a very nice R129(1990-2002)SL500. I've owned pevious turnkeys: A Diablo VT -The yellow one with a bull on the roof that Exotic Rebodies uses on their website. It had an 8.2Liter caddy engine. The problem was that the car was not dependable and drove rather poorly. The positve aspects were that I became somewhat of a celebrity over night-Yes it was the most fun I've ever had while showing off in a car. But I want to build a beautiful custom 2003 SL, using my car as the donor. I have a dealer licsense and can aquire the parts for a reasonable price, but I haven't approached anyone for the bodywork. The work consists of fitting the front and rear clip, also a small vent section on the side. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know. -cy
