I have tried for weeks to track a kit for a Vanquish with no joy. So I have decided (against my wifes wishes!!)to try and create a replica myself. If anyone has any ideas, I would love to hear them. I have thought of a few donors, eg 80's camaro or firebird, 2003 Holden Monaro (2003 Pontiac GTO) etc. This project is still in it's infantcy, and I will post my progress.Dave

I think the best thing will be to lease on out for about six months. Don's leasing does a good job on leasing these cars, and replicate the parts. You'll have the exact measurements. Than you can determine the best donor. This is what I will do.

Yeah, but there is one problem with that. Here in Australia, there are only 2-3 vanquishes here and only 10 total are coming and all are privately owned. Plus trying to lease a Aus$600 000 super car for even a day is extremely expensive. I have since found out, that the Lexus Sourer will make a great donor as it will be a straight swap and there are plenty here, so hopefully I will be aquiring one soon.dave

Dave you might have to wait until one of these foreign companies come out with an Auston kit. Ill be at the Knott Berry Show in Los Angeles California, in a month. if there is anything ill write to you. Actually I grew up in Australia and I know how things are over there. The thing is most of these cars are might for left hand drive? Is that gonna work.
