Has anyone attempted to build a ******* inspired kit for the 3000GT/Stealth platform?
The Pontiac Fiero leave a lot to be desired. I just bought a Mera, and I'm glad to have it. But the 3000GT I had previously simply blows away the Fiero. It would be REALLY nice to drive a 308 replica with a 3000GT underneath.

Are you talking about a rebody or a full custom kit?

I don't know of any full custom kits for the Stealth (although it was one of my favorite cars for awhile).

The only issue with a rebody is, of course, that the 308 is a mid-engined car, and the Stealth/3000 is a front-engined car. The nose is too long and too tall to effectively be made to resemble the 308. That doesn't mean that it can't be a great base for one of the front-engined *******s. Like the 550 (which, BTW, has a cockpit that looks pretty similar...).
