Thanks! I believe BMW3 are the best (I mean, a FR car, powerful engine...) but they are kind of expensive.Maybe a chevy nova, but I don´t have the wheelbase. Also I´m from Argentina, and because of all the troubles that my country is suffering, the car companies aren´t importing new cars. The last we´ve seen is the ugly Ford Fiesta. I hate those little cars (FF cars, crappy engine... they suck!) So, I prefer old cars as donors (up to 1990 or a cuple of years late).

A replica of the 2002 Mercedes SL does exist. But more than a replica its an update conversion for the older 1989-2000 SL models. The front is completely changed, as so is part of the back. Original grills, lights, mirrors etc. are also fitted. The car looks quite impressive. The companies behind this project are A.C. automobile in Germany or VH Tuning in Belgium. There are also a couple of companies in Spain. Although I´m not too sure I think the price of a fully finished conversion is around 10000 Euros. And if they do a kit version it should cost at least half. If you want to update an old or damaged Mercedes then this is one way to do it. You can have a 1989 SL which looks like a new 2003 model. Now, why doesn´t someone make a Mercedes SLR Concept replica kit in a similar way.
