I was looking into it for a while, but the precision kit is of the LWB model and I was after the SWB (there is a big difference).

I have specs, pictures and other bits if you want me to dig them out. I also have plenty of research pictures of the SWB.

The precision kit has a nice interior and using the exact molds from the Ferris Bueller film, originally owned by Modena.

Let me know.

Aloha,

I am interested in more information about this kit as well. How big of a difference is there between the LWB and SWB? It can't be THAT much different, right?

Overall, is the CalSpyder a pretty nice car? If its the same as the one in Ferris Bueller's, then it looked pretty nice there.

Mahalo,

You would be surprised. There was a huge difference in both size and looks of the LWB and SWB.

Personally I prefer the SWB, looks more aggressive and more complete, and also more rare. The precision kit is of the LWB, nose is different, hood, and lots of other bits. My thought is that if you are going to the trouble of building a car like this it has to be accurate.

Here are some links to 'real' SWBs only a couple of mill!!

I have pdf specs of the precision kit and loads more information on the SWB. Email me if you want.

I AM NOT LOOKING FOR A SWB OR LWB. I JUST LIKE THE WAY IT LOOKS. IT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE A KIT CAR AND IT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE A COBRA. IT REALLY HAS A LOOK OF IT'S OWN.
