I actually drove one of the Jack Rabbits at Herb Adams home/shop near Monterey CA, in the 80s and have been looking for kit ever since. It was a blast with just a Rabbit GTI engine(4V) so it would really fly with a 16V turbo, Any information on where I can find a kit would be appreciated

Bob......I have often wondered the same thing. There are millions of Rabbits/Golfs out there that could be used as donors, they have a great variety of engine and transmissions options: TDI, VR6, 2lt, 1.8T, auto, 4spd, 5spd. And of course the Audi versions of these too ! Nice packaging and reasonably reliable (electrical issues aside on Passats) and lots of tuner parts available.... Just seems odd that it isn't at least one of the options for some Kits/Replica's. I for one would be interested !! Trevor

With the Spyder 550 you can use VW VR6, 1.8T, GM 3.1 V6 MPFI and I will start a Spyder 550 with Nissan Sentra 1994 SE-R engine. Regards Raùl http://speed356.tripod.com/classicars

I currently have a HERB ADAMS JACKRABBIT that I would sell if anybody is interested. I had new bumpers made and have some extra parts. I also work with herb on other projects he is currently working on, so if anybody has any questions on the jackrabbit i'm sure he would help you out. jamie

Hey Jamie, Just read your posting on the Herb Adams Jackrabbit. Do you still have it, do you know where to get one? Does V.S.E. still exist, kits?, molds? Etc...any info. would be appreciated. Regards
