um not that i have seen... several people on here had said they have seen a one in production but no end product yet... if any one does have one or plan on making one please contact me... well ok dont contact me if you are going to charge something outragious like 20k for just the kit..
and if you are going to make a kit try and get a interior too.. that always makes me mad...cuz then you have this really nice car and when someone rides with ya and there is this old Sh*t interior (like with the Vette converserions, your only bet is to tent the windows and not offer anyone a ride )
befor i stick my foot all the way in my mouth... is there an interior kit out there for the Vette upgrades? i was thinking of doing one.. like someone said on here once... they are getting cheaper and cheaper and the kits are hardly nothing to boot
well hope this rant helps?!

I don't know if there is an interior kit upgrade or not. I certainly would love to build the 550 maranello over the f355. It seems that since the Maranello is front engine that it would be easy for someone to come up with a kit to fit on a corvette. There are so many engine options for the vette and you can find a used 80's model vette for $4k-$6k. Even if you didn't upgrade that the car would run strong. I too am big on interior and would have to have it before I would consider building it. I'm desparate for this one or the Murceilago. I think I would go for the Maranello first. The 355 is a long ways away from my first choice but it seems like that's mostly what is available.

I wouldn't put too much faith in that Spanish company. All of the photos seem to be of real exotics or kits made by other manufacturers.

I have been pondering the idea of building a 550 on either a Supra or Vette. There's a startup company in the States that cuts full scale foam plugs from a 3D image scan of your model. I'm not sure if they can do it from a 1/18 scale model, or if it needs to be a larger 1/4 scale, but that would sure make building a plug much easier. I'm leaning towards the Vette due to the engine options.

What kind of experience do you have putting kits together? Depending on what a finished one you build looks like and the cost of the kit I would be interested. I would certainly want the interior as well. Glass? Are you looking at doing a 80's model vette? What year Supra would be in consideration. The 90's to today model vette and supra both are pricy. I would definitely want it on a 80's model of either if possible.

C4 Vettes are very affordable as a donor vehicle, but the door glass is much too short. This one area alone will throw the whole look off. It's the same situation that exists in my Fiero 355 replica. It's not as noticeable in the spyder version due to the absense of a b-pillar to frame the window. So I'm looking at either a C4(convertible only), or C5 at this point. I do fiberglass & upholstery just as my hobby by the way...And a pricey one at that.
