I'm trying to decide on buying a project car or just building
a kit.
I have seen a project car that I'm interested in. Someone used a Fiero and has the 355 body assembled on it. His only comments is that it drives good. The kit is also out of state.
What do I need to be looking for here?
Is there any way to have the car checked out without me having to fly to the state myself (something simular to http://www.carcheckers.com)?

See if anybody from the site is in that state. Maybe they could drive by and check it out.

I'm in Newport Beach, CA.

Your pal,
Meat.

I'm leaning toward building a kit instead of taking on someone else's project. I'm ok with mechanic work but no body experience. I have a friend who is good with body work, well all aspects of a car.
I'm looking at a non-stretch F355 kit. Is it unrealistic for me to decide to do this or is this an easy enough workable project?
