I need help with a kit car I just bought. It is a amante gt it was built in 1972 I think. It rides on a vw bettle chassis and that is about all I know about the car. So if you know any info please fill me in. Thanks

I forgot to mention this if you do know what this car is let me know
if it is possible to put a 350 chevy small block in it. Thanks for all the info you can give me.

If so, then you're probably looking at one of the later, Florida based ones, which means that the car is based on a VW platform. More than likely, you're not going to be able to fit a V8 into the car. BUT - all hope is not lost - you can contact Kennedy Engineering (http://www.kennedyeng.com/) about the adapters they make to fit the VW transaxle.
