Hey...it can be done, but don't use the turbo engine out of the early 79 and 80 mustangs...they're not very good engines...the one's out of the turbo coupes and svo mustangs are much better. I've built several Gazelles, and I've put the 2.3 4 cylinders, 2.8 v-6, and even a chevy 305 engine in them. Cooling with the v-8 was a challenge, and required an aluminum Griffen radiator.
