I think there is one of their kits on ebay built on an 1980 cutlass chassis. Last time I looked it was going for about $1000 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dllViewItem&category=7251&item=1876623817 , What I don't understand is the original stingray had a 98" wheelbase. Did they just stretch the body or shorten the frame to make it fit the donor? And if anybody knows this, is their an assembly manual? I sure would like to get one to get some ideas. Thanks, Scott

The Corvette was a Cutlass/Regal based platform. The chassis was shortened to fit the Corvette wheelbase, which - according to the manual - was an unbolt/drill some holes/rebolt affair. The Corvette rebody was purchased from another company. The one thing that I really liked about that particular kit was that it had a trunk - unlike the original - and it looked "right" with it!
