I was looking through my old Kit Car magazines and saw a add for a kit that turned a Chevette into a convertible. Anyone know where they are now or where the kits went?

Dare to be different!!

Last I heard, Convette was located in Louisville, Kentucky. I have heard nothing more from the company, and can't find a phone number or any other info ANYWHERE about the company. Good luck in your search.

Your pal,
Meat.

What was the actual name of the company? The magazine I have is pretty ragged and the area where the company name is has been destroyed. I'd like to get the instructions for the kit and then perhaps make my own setup. I wish the article I have had more pics so I could see what all is involved in doing this......... Oh well, back to the old drawing board!!! P.S. Thanks for the reply!!

"Convette" was the name of the company.

The kit was a rollbar, top, side curtains and a 'how-to' conversion video.

Your pal,
Meat.

Okay now does anyone have the full article or magazine on this kit or the instructions from the kit? I have been looking for something to set my Chevette apart from the rest and I think this would be a cool way to do it. Thanks again Meat!!
