Wow. I have NEVER been stumped before. I have no idea what that is! Is it on a VW chassis? Are there doors? How is the inside of the body; is it raw fiberglass, or foam?I'll start pulling out all of my old brochures. It looks like it's an early kit, it doesn't look like anything I remember from the 70s-today! Sorry! BTW, where did you find it? Your pal, Meat.

hey, i think i know what that car is, check on the chassis and see if there is a vin number if the is post it then i can be sure, as of right now i think its 1 of 3 thing, first its on an old vette chassis 74 i think, or its a costom chassis, or an old porsche frame, like a 944 or something. i looked at the pics and noticed it had a rear engine, that limits your options of what it is alot, unless the guy was a good mechanic. personally i think the guy just had too much time on his hands and laid fiberglass over existing parts to make it look like a hand laid piece. My advice is to find the vin number and post it, then i can help you look on the chassis near where the engine bolts to the chassis or else just look around for some numbers.

All I have found out with the vin is the frame is from a 68 VW and the engine a 1500cc if you need the vin give me some time. with i got the car there was no interior just a steering wheel, and a couple of gages if you would like pics of those let me know and ill get them for you.. also there are not doors you get in thought the roof of the car (it has t-tops) car get more pics if so wanted. its all fiberglass ohh yeah found it behind a barn my brother was make an entery video to junkyard wars and found it paid $200 for it. the guy got it with the barn and has no idea what it was. |

I thought it was a VW chassis, it couldn't be a Corvette.I also don't think that it's a good idea to post VIN numbers on the internet. The body may be from Fiberjet or Fiberfab or some other dune buggy manufacturer from the 70s. See if there's any info on the front windshield about where it came from. I'm still looking. Your pal, Meat.

I'm not so sure about that. Here's the kit:
 And here's a few Bradleys:

www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Street/2303/bigfrank4.jpg" border=0>
www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Street/2303/ben2.jpg" border=0> There's a rear spoiler that goes way up on the Bradley, plus the lower quarters don't wrap around under the car, nor is there a brace that goes across the bottom rear of the engine opening, framing the engine. Still looking. Your pal, Meat.

I know this car!Its an early version of the Cheetah, I do not know witch manufacturer it is as the design was sold to many companies before it ended up with someone with the resources to produce it in quantity. All of the early ones were VW based. I believe the kit was later modified for V8 power. Sorry I cant help more.

hmmm...Those Bradley pictures didn't 'take.' Well, here they are again. You can see that the car really doesn't look all that much like the above picture:

So...still haven't found out what this kit or body is yet... Still looking! Your pal, Meat.

Well, I'm stumped.I have gone through all of my Fiberjet, Fiberfab (Azteca? nope...), Kellison (I thought it might have been an early Kellison Pan-Am...nope.), Or even (and this was a stretch) a Lincoln Shark. I got nothin'. I am going to keep looking, though I am running out of pictures. Plenty of brochures, but if there's no picture "the body is made to fit the VW chassis" can be applied to alot of kits. By chance, do you know if the VW pan was shortened? That could narrow it down a bit further. Your pal, Meat.

RD: You might try posting over at www.shoptalkforums.com They are all VW and there is a "VW Kit Cars Forum" inside that is only VW based stuff. Someone there may be of some help. Are you planning on finishing it? It is somewhat unique.
