There's a company that advertises here - Euroworks - that has a Evoluzione II kit that has doors that swing out and up. Maybe you could contact them about how they do that with a Camaro/Firebird door...maybe they have a kit that would allow your doors to work that way?

Don't be discouraged if Euroworks doesn't help you. They do not sell their hinges to anyone who doesn't buy the kit. I would't be surprised if they also don't want to talk about their methods.

Don't bother asking the owner who did his door conversion -- he won't say. There are 25 pages in his guestbook of people asking about it. One of the posters said that the company (called Formula 1) are a bunch of pricks.

"hey there! I called Formula 1, the company who did your door conversion. WHAT ASSHOLES!!! How did you deal with them? He quoted me $18,000 and then asked if I could afford it - with an attitude..when I said 'yes, but your attitude sucks' He said '**** YOU' and hung up on me..."

In short, you will have to do a lot of looking if you want your doors to pop out. Otherwise, like meat said, it will take some reconsruction of the rear corner.
