I'm thinking about purchasing a kit car, but it's my first and i know nothing about kit cars. What else am i gonna need on top of the kit and tools? |

Paint, wheels, tires. You'll probably want to get on a first-name basis with the local fastener shop; you can never have enough fasteners (bolts, nuts, screws, etc).Also, there are differences between the various Fieros. Some have 4 cyls with either a 4-speed or an Isuzu five speed, the rest have 6-cyls with either a 4-speed or a Getrag 5-speed. If you're thinking about resale, then you might want to check on the 5-speeds; they're percieved as more technologically advanced by potential buyers. The later Fieros (87-88) are supposed to be the best choices. Your pal, Meat.

thanks, i'll be getting a 5 spd, not for resale, just because it's not much more anyway.
