It's a real shame you didn't get the owners notebook or build mannual with your car. Usually even the turnkey cars came with both of these books. Sebrings were made by Bremen Industries in Bremen, Indiana from about 1973 to 1984. As far as I know about 450 were built during that time period. If the cars were a turn-key car they often came with one of several v-6 or v-6 turbo options as well as the VW engine options. I have owned 4 of these cars over the past 22 years with VW, v-6, and rotary engines in them. I currently have two of them. You can see my rotary car on this website under the heading 1983 Bremen Sebring for sale. The only reason I am selling my cars at this point is because of business losses resulting from the 9/11 tragedy. I think they are great cars if you spend some time properly sorting them out and building them to your driving taste.
