I have a 29 gazel kit with main body sitting on ford frame. Nothing hooked up. It has a pinto motor, I was thinking about putting an 88 Thunderbird turbo coup 2.3 in it. Any Advise

Go to it and good luck! As long as you have any necessary electronics for the engine and a way to hook up the drivetrain to the rear axle, I see no reason you couldn't do it. Personally, I'd try to keep the engine and transmission together (out of the same car)rather than mix-and-matching. You might wind up with gearing that can't take advantage of the turbo.
