I have the remains of a 2003 Porsche 911/996, unfortunately the front end is beyond repair, such is the fate of some racers. I would like to transplant the engine and drivetrain to a suitable frame to build a kit car. I have never attempted this, I am fairly mechanicly inclined, and I am looking for direction and recommendations to getting started. Any help and advice, websites, etc, would be appreciated.
Thankyou

You can probably use your drivetrain in one of the older VW based kits or your can use that transmission and flip it for a mid-engine installation using a different motor in something like a GT40. There are quite a few possibilities.
