I also know about Classic Roadsters. The Classic International actually existed in the mid 90's and I have a suspicion that he was affiliated with Thoroughbred Coach Builders by Gil Longnecker. I have had contact with Gil and he told me that Classic International is his project. Products were Gullwing, 300 SLR roadster and 500K. Unfortunately Gil died in May last year. In Fargo also existed American Classics who has been producing Corvette and T-Bird replicas. Both companies (CI and American Classics) are very rare and I have long been unable to find anything.

The only thing i could find on classic roadsters - Fargo ND was a topic on a cobra forum about getting ripped off by them, you may want to check kicarlist.com and see if any of the cars look like the ones you are talking about, you may also want to check out madmechanics.com I know alot of members there have info from kit makers from along time ago.

ERROR... "looking but NOT found them.."I want to say that this is a rare company and I specialize in rare kit cars. Did you know that Classic Roadsters was to produce T-Bird and I have a suspicion that the kit was purchased from American Classics? You know that Roaring Twenties Motor Cars was a McGrath Automotive in the early 90's and was affiliated with the Warlock Performance who has been to offer a Warlock sportscar? Moreover'll tell you the following. I have a lot of literature from Thoroughbred Cars (80's) including one of the latest portfolio of Thoroughbred Coach Builders (1998) with different color photos. But Classic International was printed catalog, in contrast to leaflets of Thoroughbred.

I found this topic Mercedes 300 SL gullwing replica/KIt!!!"Also, Classics International made a kit called the Silver Arrow Gull-Wing, body/chassis kits for $18,540.They were at 423 So. 10th St., Fargo, N.D. 58103, (701)239-8227. Also about 10 years old. Also 1-800-927-8229. What happened to these guys and their molds?" I know that many people in the U.S. is very careful attitude to different documents, and because of this property was found lots of interesting material in 700 companies but it never ceases to amaze you sometimes can not find the papers. I do not have similar problems from United Kingdom.

I finally realized that there is no use that or look for it on this forum. I was thinking earlier that it is a forum of professionals are in business for over 20 years and can sell me an interesting stuff or tell where to find it ... But if there arises a question as whether there are such companies and I start to tell the story of American kit cars for those who need to know it better than me. This means that, for me, this resource is completely useless.

I know a guy who was a professional builder for Classic Roadsters and built several of their kits. If you contact me at eric@kitcarchassis.com I might be able to get you some information.

Thank you for reply. But I'm not interested in Classic Roadsters. I'm interested in CLASSIC INTERNATIONAL who built Mercedes replicas. The Classic Roadsters was not to build a Mercedes 300 SLR and 500K.
