My father owned a '67 Austin Healey Mark 3000, loved the car. He passed away 5 years ago, entering my mid 40's I would love to buy a classic roadster to honor him - I also enjoy cars. The idea of buying a 'classic' while not dealing with an 'aged' auto is intriguing.
I need help knowing what to look for in a used Cobra Kit car (my budget puts me in the $30,000 range) - and what I should buy based on my preferences.
Anyone out there able/willing to give me some insight?

Go to www.ffcars.com and take a look at their forums. Lots of Cobras that are for sale and people who know what to look for and lots about many of the cars that are for sale.
There is nothing better than being able to go look at a build page of a car.
