I just purchased a 1936 540K Thoroughbred two-seater with removable hard top and frt fender side-mounted spare tires.The 540K was driven 24,000 miles before the 289 eng/C4trans were removed. I bought a hot rodded '73 Pinto with 302/AOD, and plan to transplant the drivetrain into the 540K. The hard top was never installed on the 540K and the area for the rear glass has not been cut out. I'm hoping someone has info on how to mount the removable hard top. Also if someone could post a picture of a 289 V8 in the engine bay I would be very grateful. Anxious to get it on the road.How are pictures posted?Thank you. |
