Hi! Just signed up because I have just inherited a kit car. My father bought it well over a decade ago - it's a Gazelle I think - and he worked on it for a little while. Then it sat. And sat. And sat.Now, he has passed on and I have inherited this kit car!
I need to get rid of it. But honestly, it's in bits and pieces. There are parts everywhere, and I couldn't tell anyone if it's complete or not. I don't think the VW car underneath works anymore. It certainly hasn't been started in years.
My question is this - is there a market for something like this? Honestly, I just want it out of the garage and basement so I can sell the house, so price isn't the issue. I would be happy to let it go for cheap or even for free if someone is willing to tow/collect it. I am sure there are enough parts that make it worthwhile for someone.
Is that something that kitcar enthusiasts do? Or do they only want pristine cars?
Thoughts?
