Hi
My son wants to build a 355 coupe replica that a guy in Ontario builds bodies from. He can build a body to fit on a stock wheelbase Fiero or a a body to fit a stretched Fiero.
Does anyone know of a website that details what must be done to stretch the Fiero chassis ?
My boy is not worried about performance or going "fast" but obviously if he does all this work, he wants the car to look really good and we don't know if the non-stretched body will look right.
Does anyone have any input on the stretched/non-stretched 355's looks? ---is it worth the extra work to stretch it ?
Also, does anyone have any experience with any 355 body builders in Southern Ontario ?
Thanks very much for your input,
Charlie

If your son wants a more accurate looking 355 a stretch is the way to go. If you are looking just for good looks and not as concerned with accuracy then by all means go for the non stretched version.

Here are a few places for more information...

Good luck with your build and have a happy holiday

Thank you very much for the webpages and for your opinion. It looks like stretching the Fiero is a BIG job.

Another thing to consider is just buying one already stretched and scratch the build. Although the building is the best part, there are many real good deals to be had out there right now
