I'm very interested in having a car built -- currently thinking AH 3000, 300SL Gullwing, 250 GTO, or maybe XK120. Looking for a very high-quality build with an emphasis on as much genuine appearance externally while having a completely modern car in all aspects functionally. I can find lots of interesting looking cars - though I have no idea of their real quality. But my biggest question at this point is any recommendations on someone in the Bay Area to have do the actual build. I don't think what I want in the car is exactly like anything I've seen online, so I really need someone whose input I can trust as much as their technical expertise.
I know that's a tall order, so any suggestions anyone might have would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, rj
