Hi!

We recently bought a very cute 1929 Gazelle Replica (it was made by CMC) built on top of a VW engine with a VW chassis. We bought it with the idea of using it for our ice-cream business, it will make an awesome looking ice-cream "truck".

I am really ashamed to say that I don't know much about mechanics. The car runs, but it needs some work, including work required to get it to pass through the nice bureaucracy set up here in California so that we can get it registered (it came from Indiana).

Anyway, I'm having huge issues finding a mechanic who's willing to work on the kit car, many will just not take the business. This is a proof of concept for us, and if it works we'll probably buy a few of these to drive around town and sell frozen fruit bars.

Does anyone know a friendly mechanic in Sacramento, CA (we're in Roseville, but close enough)? Or at the very least some suggestions on how to find one?

Thanks a lot! I'll post pictures when we have the body work done (the car's OK, but it will look much cooler once it's painted for the business).

Hello Buddy how are you, listen what you need to do is ou have to find a mechanis that loves ice cream and than offer him lots of ice cream so they can work on it. ( just kidding ok) listen tell the mechanics that you will sponsor their shop on the ice cream truck so that way tehy will get close to the car if not let me know and if you like shipp it down to North Hollywodd Ca we have a mechanic shop that will take care of your problems.
thank you
from Harry
