I would think that a kit would be more managable for most people. I would also expect to see a price in the same range as what the gt-40's sell for...depending on what your company will include in the total package. Package content will help buyers see that they are getting a good deal or a not so good deal.
I have been following your development of this car but can no longer follow along as your website is no longer available...

Should you decide to produce and sell turnkeys exclusively, possible you may be classified as a manufacturer subject to many, if not all, of the same federal regulations as major auto corporations.
should we sell body kits or turnkey's only
