Volkswagon chassis' are passe' anymore, since they are getting harder to come by (although, new chassis are available for a premium). Therefore, kit manufacturers have basically put VW to the side and concentrated on other donors: S-10, Fiero and others. Check this site to see almost every kit currently being manufactured: http://www.kitcarlist.com/ and you'll see several Willy's kits on S-10 chassis'.
