I am thinking of a Porsche Speedster purchase. With so many manufacturing choices I am looking for input. I would buy a used one or turnkey unit. What company is the best? What company to avoid? I've own and have owned real Porsches for many years, but have always wanted a Speedster. The cost for a real one is not workable. The new replicas sound like very usable cars. I would want to have the replica as close to the real thing as possible. Thanks for all and any input.

There are two locations you might consider for a Speedster:
http://www.beckspeedster.com/eventsnews.html
and of course the awesome cars from:
http://www.thunderranch.com/356.html

Good luck with your venture.

John, have you had any experience with Vintage Speedster? They claim to sell more than Beck.

No I have not had any REAL experiance, I am just a browser and a looker. It stands without reason that of course an ORIGINAL will cost some serious $$$$$.
You sounded like you were interested in a replica. I just gave you a few builders I have stumbled on in my own research. If it is an original you are looking for SAVE YOUR YOUR MONEY!!!

Perhaps you meant something like the 1925 Type-A Speedster? No I have NO experience.
Good luck in your search.
