Greetings to all! I may have posted here a long time ago (apparently so, because i was already a member). Anyway, once again, i'm on the prowl for a good semi-beginner's kit car project. i say semi beginner's because i am willing to take on a frame-up project as opposed to riveting in fiberglass fenders and painting it... however, i would prefer no welding (just because i've never attempted it, and i wouldn't trust my own skills)...so basically, i'd prefer something that could be assembled with basic tools, or at least be able to rent specialty tools... Another thing, i'm aiming for a performance based car (not the vintage mercedes, etc.), without going *******'s and lambo's... i've also seen some "classic/muscle/trucks" (betsy's something-or-other, and kreativerodwerks)... and along with the classic muscle, i know about the "super shoebox", which is a 55 chevy coupe, and the "stalker" from brunton automotive (lotus super seven inspired).. also, the k1 attack, which is what got me hooked on kitcars. the first i ever saw that i realized was a kitcar was the myers manx 2+2 in a magazine, then i got online and saw the attack... anyway, you guys have got a basic idea of what i'm looking for.. plus, i'm 6'4ish, with an average build, so i'd need something rather comfortable in the cabin... what would you guys suggest? i'm open for anything really.. |
