http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Custom-Built-Lamborghini-Murcielago-Replica-View-Now_W0QQitemZ320098206728QQcategoryZ7251QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I sent him and email asking him if I could come by next week, as I was going to be in the area, and wanted to see a finished car and some work in progress, and here is the reply I got. I CUT AND PASTED IT TO THIS ADVISORY!!!!!!!!

miamicowboy69,

It is not a triangle g car, as this is a roadster not a coupe.

We have a new account in the interest of keeping our business
separate from our personal account as we have not done that in
the past.

I understand your skepticism but if you read further into the
listing you will see that this car is not actually built yet. Each car
is custom built as per each buyers' requests. The car will look
exactly the same. However the interior and exterior colors as
well as the rims are left to the buyer to determine.

Concerning your interest in seeing a few of our cars;
unfortunately we do not have demo cars built at this time
because it is so early in the game.

Again, I do understand your concerns. If you feel uncomfortable
I urge you to wait and check out our future completed projects. I
am sure they will be to your satisfaction.

Thank you for your interest. We look forward to speaking with
you in the future. If you have any other questions feel free to
contact us.

Xtreme Exotica

IT LOOKS TO ME LIKE THIS IS HIS FIRST BUILD, IF HE IS IN FACT PLANINNG A BUILD.

Its a shame they said they didnt have any demo's. I live in Hazlet, NJ the town right next over from Holmdel, NJ. If you can get an address for the shop I can go check it out for you guys. Also noticed there engine pics are from a diablo, and on there website it lists a 319 area code which is not a NJ area code. 319 is Iowa

Hello,

I would just like to say we are not a scam, We are working with Top Gun to bring his kits to the east coast. MiamiCowboy has only sent us emails asking for the supplier of our kits, and calling us scammers. The first email ever received from him stated the following: "Who is this kit built by?? It appears to be a triagle g car.
It is very suspisious that you have a brand new ebay account, and such a classy looking ride for your first sale. We in the kit car community will all be discussing your car, check us out at kitcar.com, kitcars.com kitcentral.com just to name a few!"

We are more than happy to answer questions but do not appreciate being called scammers. Top Gun has authorized us to produce his kits on the east coast.

If there are any questions for us please feel free to ask in this forum, we will answer as soon as possible.

Thank You,
Xtreme Exotica

I was going to give them the benifit of the doubt but im not going to anymore They emailed me once and told me that tog gun gave them permission to use the photos, I emailed them again and they have yet to respond.

Also if you notice the number on the website 319-264-3737 the phone lookup info puts it here

Type: Land LineProvider: Van Horne Cooperative Telephone Co,Location: Van Horne, IA

but the new one is NJ as noted above

Now the other thing that does not sit well with me is the fact that the Domain was purchased a few days ago, and is privacy protected so you cant see the address. and they have become a car builder in 4 days, using someone elses photos.

So where are you located? One of our members would like to go and check out your company

Also please post some photos of your builds. We would like to see your work and not someone elses

Damn the more I see you post the more I have questions.

-Why not make it clear in your auction that those photos are copyright Top Gun?
-Why not do the same on your website?
-Instead of showing someone elses work, why not display your own? I mean after all your site says you have been building for 2 years.
- Do you have some references of past customers that you have built kit cars for? If so please provide the information.
-Your Auction and Website are misleading, why not just be 100% honest from the begining?

That should be it for now. But Im sure I will have more.

kitcarguy,

We received your email, unfortunately we do not have someone checking emails for us at all times. As per our domain, you are correct we purchased that domain a couple of days ago, the same time we opened our ebay account. Before we started selling on ebay we had no need for a site. You also mentioned that we are using Top Guns photos, again I would just like to say that we will be selling completed Top Gun cars on the east coast, Ron at Top Gun is 100% aware of this and has authorized the use of these photos. The website is still under construction and will be updated with new pictures during our next build. You also mentioned our address is not mentioned on the whois, we are currently in the process of opening a new garage, once it is opened we will update the address. Our phone number has been updated on the site, the 319 number was a temporary number given to us by Vonage, it has been removed since they gave us a local number.

If there are any other questions please feel free to ask.

Well Then . Once again let me ask this...

- Do you have some references of past customers that you have built kit cars for? If so please provide the information.

Now here is just a question to amuse me .

surely before you took someones money on an ebay auction, wouldnt you have a garage all ready to go? I mean the reason you say there is not address is because you are in the process of opening a new garage.

Your site says you have been building cars for 2 years. You must have some build photos of something you could share with us, or anyone on your site.

With all the red flags right now, its no wonder why you are getting heat right off the bat. For anyone the first red flag was you using a car you did not build(with or without permission) and without some sort of disclaimer that you didnt build it. Its pretty shady.
