has anyone ever done business with PERRY D? he has a pretty nice looking 550 spyder priced in my budget..... i do realize it fits directly to a 'old school lol' VW beetle but thats ok since i have one rusting away in my buddys back yard. not looking for a contours body but something nice to drive around town you know a daily driver or maybe (big maybe lol) something to enter the local car shows..... i do realize thunder ranch has one but he is WAY out of my budget. any help would be most appreciative. THANKS

Hello,
I have a 356 replica and love it. However, I would not park it outside overnight or drive it in the rain. I don't know if the perry d kit comes with a top but if it does I guarentee it won't be water tight. Just a consideration if you plan on it being a daily driver.

They are out of biz. The kits were horrible, you are much better off buying a used beck or a vintage rolling kit and finishing yourself. Its more money but it will be a much more driviable project.
