Hi
This is the first time I have used the forum.
I am struggling with butterfly doors I have tried and failed a few times.
I have ordered toyota sera hinges as I beleive they were used on the mclaren f1.
I can get them to work but the pivot point is high to the top of the door and looks bad.
Any one cured this fault or any ideas?
Regards

Rick

What kind of car? Do the doors close and latch naturally, or are they a little "sprung"? If everything closes and latches as it should, and the only problem is the doors look strange when opened, then that's the breaks. Some cars just don't look right with scissor style doors. If they work, get used to the look. If you can't, change them back to a conventional style door.
