ok, im looking for a kit car kinda similar to the lotus elise/exige, basicly i want a modern 2 seat roadster with mid engine arangement. i know the real lotus' are relatively cheap (elise coming in around 45k usd) but i would realy prefer building something myself and considering its a rather barebones type car i would think that a kit would end up being cheaper. if there is not a car similar i will probably end up building my own. thanks for the time guys

Well I applaude your desire to "make one your own" And it looks like thats what you need to do. There is nothing on the market that looks like that. And the reason is probally just what you stated. its cheap .

IF you have all the skills to build such a car then do it. I would say you could buy one cheaper then you could build it. Good luck
