Hi everyone... after a very long pause, I have decided to participate on this forum again and here is what I think about this topic :1. To my knowledge there is NO Gallardo replica in existance so far.
That may change very quickly but for now that's a fact.
2. There are several manufactures that offer a Murcielago replica
bodykits or finished cars (so called turnkeys). It sounds tempting
but my opinion is : stay away from them !!! The one and only reason
for that is the fact that every single one of them is made
completely wrong (regarding overall shape and proportions) and that
is why they would'n fool a 3 year old kid, much less anyone older.
The whole point of owning a replica is making other people believe
you own the original. So when anyone with the slightest idea
about Murcielagos can easily see that your car is a fake, there
really is no point at all in owning such a replica. Instead you
would be much better off buying an accurate Diablo 6.0 replica.
There are quite many kitcar makers that offer accurate diablo kits,
NAERC, IFG, Parallel Designs (by far the best accuracy if you ask
me, but they are in England), D&R and many others. We are yet to
see an accurate Murcielago replica. Everything seen so far is just
not accurate enough(including the "Cyclone" bodykit, offered on
eBay (kitcars360 posted the link) which is far from perfect, since
it is only slightly redesigned version of the same (inaccurate) kit
that has been around for quite a long time. I admit though that it
is by far the best so far, but that doesen't help much, because its
proportions still remain wrong. Period.) By the way, the Cyclone
kit is made in Germany.
Everyone, have a nice day !
