I ran across this site because i saw a pic of the 49 Merc front on a porsche, what turned out to be 959, roofline. I realize these are models, and the one that drew me to the site, isn't an example of practical influence, but many on the site are, many of their more exotic cars (shelby series 1, Mustang Mach III, and Hammerhead '49 Ford) use practical rooflines(read: donors), and don't suffer for it. Just thought it would be good influence for some kits that people may have wanted for a while, but didn't think could be done without doing a full body on a tube frame and sourcing glass.
