Hello people. I was browsing various kits, and kinda liked the Lonestar LS53 1953 Corvette replica. Any experience with these here? Any other mfrs. to recommend?

As an aside, it seems I get an itch to do a kit car every couple years. I actually have yet to scratch that itch, never enough time. Research in itself is fun, though.

Looked at one a couple of years ago when I was in Texas at the factory. Good looking car and I believe it is also built on their Cobra chassis. I would inquire about all of the trim parts and items unique to the vette that you will need. There is also a couple of stingray kits out there but I do not know much about the companies and the same issue with the trim and such items.

That is a kick, but likely not a good project for a newbie. A couple years back there was a TBird 57 similar but had a drive train, it was 4k. Didn't have all the chrome bits that this seems to have though.
