I'd love to build a kitcar, but I am clueless how to start?
Any suggestion or any book to read first?

What kind of kit do you have in mind?

Another thing to concider is what type of driver is it going to be, a Daily driver, weekend warrior, weekend driver, showstopper, things to think about. Pretty much what you plan on doing with it.

You can subcribe to a Kitcar Magzine, thats how i found out about many great kits like the K1 attack. I just got through reading a book called the Kitcar builders gude or something like that but that book was popluished in the UK back in the early 90's and gives great info.

See what you can do locally, get the donnor car you need and go from there.

Another thing i would recomend to do is go to your local DMV and see what rules and regulations are in your state or provice. That way you can find out what your limited to and what your not.

There is nothing more depressing than finding out somethings are illegal when your half way into the building process. Once you have decided to build the car you want i would also suggest talking to insurance companys to see if you can even be insured.

One last thing, pay a visit to the company you are buying the kit from if you can. Ask any question that comes to mind and i mean everything you can possibly think of.

Do alot of reascreach to like an exsample if your building a Diablo replica, i would highly suggest to look up any lambo kits avalable, Join forums extc...
