One of the cars built for Minority Report is for sale. I am looking for 3 to 4 people to pool resources together and acquire this car for the purpose of pulling molds off of it and constructing fiberglass copies which could then be used to build custom built cars on a custom tube chassis, or possibly refitting the bodies to an existing platform, such as a Toyota MR2. The original vehicle is only a shell and not operational.I am already in negotiations with the current owner to acquire this vehicle, and I have already assembled some experienced car builders ready to contruct the molds from the original body once it’s acquired. It’s going to take an investment of approx $10,000 from each person interested to buy the original car, and the cost to create copies of the body would be around $5000 each. Once the molds are pulled, we can then sell the original car and get some, if not all, of the original investment back. One of these sold last August for $51,000 to a collector. This is not a scam - I will offer interested parties GUARANTEES against fraud, possibly through a bond or partnership arrangement if necessary. We can discuss specifics. I expect to get a lot of responses, and once I get 3 to 4 people on board I am moving forward. I have no plans to mass produce. Each person involved will get one body for their own personal use and no more will be created after that. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE. I will make all necessary arrangement to get the car and manufacture the duplicate bodies. We will then put the car on Ebay to try and recoupe some or perhaps all of our original investment. Brouse pictures from your PC and upload them for free here: http://imageshack.us/ It's better to produce your own body and molds, and use similar OEM glasses, because of the costly custom 2054 ones.
