Does anyone have any information on a -fiberglass body with a mid-engine mount and chassis called a "Condor Sidewinder". This is a transaxle unit based around the Toronado transmission . It was made to adapt a Chevy V-8.

What would you like to know? The car you are refering to was not called the Sidewinder but the Stinger. The "sidewider was some sort of option they offered" It was built by Condor Coach Works in 1976. There address was as follows......

Condor Coach Works, Inc.
Po Box 8498
Canton Ohio 44711
1-216-454-7057
(of course im sure this info is not valid anymore)

They also had another address but still in Ohio .

It was Mid engined V8 with a Toranado Transaxle and weighed about 2300lbs. The Canopy opened up sort of Sterling like with hydraulics.
It was sold in a Stage 1 and Stage 2 kit, and could also be bought as a turnkey for about 16-20k USD.This is a small image of what the car looks like complete. Alot better then the one on ebay currently. ( I guess thats why you might be asking) And I do think that it would be a good deal if you had the time and money to finish it.
