http://tiffanyclassic.org/index.asp Click on this link and tell me if you have ever seen, or if you own one of these cars. I own one just like the one on the link. I would be very interested in contacting other owners of the CLASSIC TIFFANY. You can read all the info about the car on the url. I also have a Heritage 1934 Mercedes kit car and I would be interested in contacting other owners of this car also ... http://tiffanyclassic.org/index.asp I am new to this sight and I am not sure how to 'post a picture' on here. Feel free to reply to seajaycecil@yahoo.comSeajay |

Thanks for posting the picture for me, and yep, thats one of my pride and joys. I drive this car everyday that it is not raining. In two years I have put over 30 thousand miles on this ride. I show it at a lot of car shows and it always gets as much attention as anything on the field and a lot more than most. Last fall I got my first four point buck with this car. He committed 'harry-carry' (lol) right behind the drivers door. Bondo, fiberglass, paint and three grand put 'Tiff' back as good as new. Seajay ......... (the deer slayer)Seajay |

OMG you hit a buck with that? I dont really know much about those cars. Is that built off a cougar or something? Thats what I see looking at the side of the vehicle. Im only 31 and im not really ready to drive one of them but it is surely a great looking ride.

Yep, an 84 cougar XR7 I think. It's got electric everything and a sunroof to boot. It was factory built by Custom Motor Carriage in miami fla in 1984. They would buy brand new Merc's and remove the front and rear end of the car. They extended the frame to 145 inch wheel base and put the body on it. It is eighteen and a half feet long bumper to bumper. They had dealerships for the cars. An 'X' dealer told me the 'sticker price' for this car in 1984 was over 60 thousand dollars. I bought the car about two years ago from a dealer who at one time had over 50 'classic' cars or about every type and kind you can think of. He is now 83 years old and still works at his three new car dealerships every day. When I got it, it had 16ooo miles on it. I restored the car with new interior, paint, chrome, wire rims and new tires. I took it back to show it to him and he told me he had 'another one' he wanted to sell. Thats how I got the 34 Benz. The Benz is a 91 model and when I got it, it had 1650 (sixteen hundred and fifty) miles on it. I havent been back down to see him because my garage is full now. ................. (if I find another one, I will have to 'add on' a couple of more bays) LOL ...... SEAJAY......Seajay |
