First off hello to everyone here. This is my first post. I've been coming to this site for a long time now. I'm going to have a little money coming to me in a few weeks and my original plan was to just find a really nice VW to drive back and forth to work. I work about a mile from home so reliability isn't a huge concern...I can walk. I'm 27 years old, but my taste is from the 60's and 70's. The reason I'm posting this is because I saw a Manta kit car on here that really affected me. I've never even had an interest in those type of cars, but this one just hit a nerve. I literally felt sick after seeing it because I knew I couldn't afford it. So basically is there anything even close to that design that I could find for $15K or less? |

Thanks Mike. I love the Montage. I know now that if I am going to drive something VW powered it's going to be that car, but I'm happy to announce I'm the new owner of a Manta Mirage....the car I've been drooling over. I have to pick it up in a couple weeks. You must be on the mantacars forums Mike, I posted about it there.

MarkB,I do recall your posts on mantacars.com. I was watching the eBay listing for the Manta Mirage that you purchased, and it appears from the discription and photos that you may have gotten a very good deal. Good Luck, Mike
